I'm in my usual summer mode of trying to upgrade the capping and my limited Excel skills. I thought I had saved last years stuff but either didn't or can't get to it.

Ideally, what I'm looking for is team matchups (summaries) for each week during the season, college and/or pro; and I can't find them anywhere.

I've got team logs, on one spreadsheet, for the NFL; everything except the yards per rush/pass. If anyone would like to have it I can post a link here where it can be imported. If anyone has anything that could help I would appreciate you doing the same or either direct me to where I could get it.

I've been doing a little reading and realized that if I could learn how to work with links between spreadsheets and work with PivotTables it might make things a little easier for me. Any tips you may have are welcome also.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks IE, Phil always has excellent information, but I didn't find it really compatible with importing or copy and pasting; I've found Statfox to be excellent for that. Getting the data can be time consuming itself, which I'm willing to do, but then converting it into weekly matchups with the summaries/averages for each team makes it even more time consuming.

I guess I was just hoping an individual might have saved some of the weekly matchups and would be willing to share them; wouldn't have to have anybodys formulas or so, just the basic info; RO, RD, PO, PD, scoring offense, scoring defense, etc.

I'm making headway on the NFL already and should be through shortly, it just takes a lot more time with
CFB.

This was what I was kind of looking for IE; this is the Big 10 conference if anyone wants to experiment. It doesn't start until after each team has played four games and therefore will only pit games against conference opponents. I did compute yards per point/efficiency ratings (both offense, defense, and net) in the first three columns.

OER - Offensive Efficiency Rating (YPP)
DER - Defensive Efficiency Rating (YPP)
NER - Net Efficiency Rating (YPP)

FS - Final Score

CSO - Cumulative Scoring Offense
CSD - Cumulative Scoring Defensive

RO - Rushing Offensive
PO - Passing Offense
TO - Total Offense

The 3 immediately above are for what each team got in the game itself; not cumulative figures.

CTO - Cumulative Total Offense
CTD - Cumulative Total Defense

I'm going to try and do the other conferences but it may take a while. I learned a few new tricks with Excel to make it easier but it's still fairly time consuming.

I'm thinking this could help with the season over under play as well as a few of the early season games. Okie State has lost 1 practice per week due to their APR.(grades)

1 practice per week is pretty significant if you ask me.

I was doing this primarily to check sides then it dawned on me it could be helpful with totals also. One practice per week is significant, good info.
