It was all dumb turnovers in the 2nd half. State scored and kicked off-- then the kid for Iowa fielded the ball, looked down, and was standing on the 1,so he had to bring it out. Then the QB Banks fumbled, leading to a State score. The next kickoff, the kid touched it at the 5, fell on it at the 2... safety, State. Next kickoff, they get it to the 10... Banks is hit, fumbles State scores...TILT.game over...


Wild scene in the parking lots before the game. Give people 10 hours to drink before kickoff, its gonna get ugly. 2 huge fights right across from us-- ambulance came to take one guy to the hospital-- must have seen 25 guys get cuffed and stuffed for drunkeness and fighting...All before 3 PM. Absolute chaos........

Oct. 19th....Iowa at Indiana.....The Dugout for beers and to watch the game? Yer on.......

Might be jumping the gun a bit about the game even being on TV. Indiana sux, and Iowa might have lost a few more games by then, so it might not even be a TV game. If it is on TV, it will be a 11 AM kickoff.
Yeah, Jaci should be around-- although getting her to go to a bar to watch a football game might take some serious arm-twisting....... If we promise her that we will leave as soon as the game is over, she might be up for it...... plenty of time before then

obviously, i didn't make it down that weekend ......FINALLY (1st time since mid July) was able to be in the QC last weekend, and of course YOU were up here.....LOL

a trip that only a major blizzard would keep me away from is now scheduled for the weekend between x-mas and ny......will come to town on Friday night, and leave by 6 a.m. on NY morning so as not to miss any games...

GO HAWKEYES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You talking about Dec 27th as the Friday night you are coming to town? Jaci and I will still be in Vermont; going out on the 22nd, coming back on the 31st. X-mas with the In-laws-- their first one in Vermont. Will spend all my time skiing, though.......
