He was torched in Miami last Friday for 7 runs in 1 1/3 innings pitching 70+ pitches.
Now he is asked to save his fading team from a sweep at the hands of the visiting Padres.

Looks way too easy to take +171 on the Pads.
They will be looking to get out of town to face the Marlins after winning the series. No way books are giving away +171 or are they ?

Looks way too easy to take +171 on the Pads.
They will be looking to get out of town to face the Marlins after winning the series. No way books are giving away +171 or are they ?

yeah i hate takin +171 on a pitcher who's given up 25h last 25ip and only 9 walks. oh not to mention just 4 runs.
tampa's losing, there's no reason they should be more than a -125 fave today except that people are suckers and will pay "cause the rays won't get swept at home" when they're only a game over .500 at home and .667 on the road.

too easy to take +170 on a team that's 13 above .500 and has taken 2 in a row from this team and has the best bullpen in the majors? i think not. pads win this one and the rays get lucky with the dbacks coming to town this wknd. maybe they can take 2 of 3 against arz.
