machen hurt for kent state. backup qb brown (true freshman) came in and drove the ball, but then threw in an INT inside the ohio 30. ohio ball with under 5:00 left in their own territory

problem is that no machen for kent means very little hope. ohio did indeed punt. kent with the ball at their own 35 with 3:20 left.

true freshman brown comes in off the bench and goes 15/19 and a score. shaping up to be a brutal backdoor. was on the right side of it but really caught a break, especially with no machen in the final 5:00
