I am going to take the Illini in this game, Ohio state is all ready to face michigan and they are overlooking the Illini. Ohio State struggles on the road, they struggled last week at Purdue, struggled at Cincy, at Wisky, at Northwestern, and I think they struggle again here. They only beat NW by 11, and Northwestern is the worst team in the big ten. All the other road games they haven't won by more than 5 points, so I see this as being a close game as the Illini are starting to come together and may even win this game outright.

I'm with you 100%. Illinois has covered 4 in a row and blew Wisky out at Madison despite going -3 in turnovers. Ohio State is much stronger at home than on the road.:toast:

Agreed and have posted it as a play too. Ohio St hasn't covered on the road yet this yr. Illini are playing their best stretch of football this yr. If the Illini can score some pts, the Buckeyes might not have the offense to cover 9 pts even w/ Illini's bad defense. And a nice possible look-ahead with the Michigan game the week after. Also I belive teams in Ohio St's position (win the last 2 and your in the Nat'l championship) have alot of extra pressure and seem to cover less than not.

since every1 is on this home away crap, is illinois that good at home? didnt san jose state beat them at home? lmao:shrug: anyway the only way illini covers is by the backdoor job. BUCKS will lead this 1 by double digits and i really dont see that defense giving too much. just my thoughts. good luck though 2 all you illini bettors!!!!!!!!:D

Yes they did lose to SJS at home, but was early in the season, and really since they lost to Minnesota they have really turned it around. They have had 2 wins out of 3 at home in conference play against purdue, Indiana, and the loss was to Michigan, that aside, I think the Illini have turned the corner with thier offense and with Ohio St's offensive troubles on the road I look for the Illini to stay within the number. ;)

What happened in mid September is totally irrelevant to now. Remember when Va Tech was considered a top 5 team? It seems like come mid-November the undefeated teams start feeling added pressure.
