I hate USC and Carroll.

I honestly don't think ND deserves to be in title game any more than a lot of teams. They are just one of several that can make an argument.

I don't see ND beating USC but I'm glad they get to play and know it CAN be done. Should be interesting.

Here is an unbiased opinion, because I hate Notre Dame, Michigan, and USC.:mj07:

Michigan and OSU are the two best teams in the country, period. That Cal-USC game was about as interesting as watching all those MAC games last week:142smilie

I agree 100% Skip. I don't have a dog in the fight but watching the Cal/USC game last night was like watching grass grow - slowly. Being on the east coast I haven't seen these two very often, and I am happy i haven't. Needless to say an Ohio St. win by three at their place makesa rematch on a neutral feild even more intruiging.

Well, Michigan has a very weak non-conf. schedule and is TIED FOR 2ND in their own conference. That doesn't sound like merit for a nat'l championship.

This Scott4USC guy waffles around like a fool........About 3 or so weeks ago he is running around here saying that USC only lost to Oregon State because they turned the ball over 4 times, and that NO TEAM in the country can survive against any team worth its salt by turning it over that many times.

Well, the Buckeyes beat the NUMBER 2 TEAM in the nation losing the turnover battle by 3.

I kept my mouth shut on here all week.....because I quietly knew that Ohio State was BY FAR the better team, but as always anything can happen. Unlike Scotty, who will likely write 5 books in the coming weeks why USC is the greatest team on Earth......Buckeyes can sleep easy at night knowing that they are the best team in the nation and if they dont beat themselves there is no team that can hang within 10 points of them if they dont beat themselves.

And no Scott......the USC defense cannot contain the OSU offense.......they will get huge chunks of yards against you too. It isnt like we have speed at just a couple positions........it goes 5 deep at receiver, 2 deep at RB, and a QB that you wont touch. GOOD LUCK SIR

Is it true Michigan has only beaten 3 BCS teams with winning records, while USC has already beaten 7and USC still has ND and UCLA on deck? :scared

If USC wins out, they will have beaten 3 times as many BCS schools with winning records as Michigan.

:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

I hope and pray USC loses a game in the next two we can expose the Trojans in the bowl game.

You got it all wrong Big Tease. A team has to turn the ball over 4 times not 3 like Ohio St did. The magic # here is 4. You know Scott will correct you on that.

All seriousness i agree with your post 100%. Ohio St turned it over 3 times and still won and still put up 42 points against a good Michigan team..

On the other side USC turned the ball over 4 times against an inferior Beaver team and lost

USC has NO chance

USC has NO chance

Why would ANYONE want to see a rematch of Ohio St. vs Michigan. Michigan was +3 in turnovers and OSU still had game in hand. Will Ohio St. have 2 unforced turnovers again vs Michigan? Geesh.

Michigan D is too slow. I wouldn't mind USC vs Michigan matchup in Rose Bowl. I can CA$H in on that bet like I did USC vs Michigan 3 years ago.

Funny how these ESPN analysts NEVER mention the 3 turnovers by Ohio St. 2/3 turnovers being unforced. Yet, MICHIGAN was down double digits late in the 4th quarter being +3 turnovers.

DO NOT reward a LOSER a trip to the BCS NC.

USC vs Ohio St. would be perfect matchup. USC has the speed and talent to compete. OSU exploited the slow Michigan D. OSU will not be able to do that with ease against USC. OSU also had 2 huge TD runs against UM. Would be SHOCKED if that happened against USC. You must be methodical and drive down the field to score on USC consistently.

Who knows if USC can beat ND and then follow that up @UCLA. Back to back wins against rivals is tough. :scared But if USC wins out, no question they are in.

USC has 5 wins against top 25 BCS ranked teams. Does Michigan?

Plain and simple, the Trojans would/will get blown out by either Michigan or OSU.

USC was -4 turnovers and gave up special teams TD. OSU was -3 turnovers and did NOT give up special teams TD. OSU was playing @OSU, USC was playing @Oregon ST. Ohio St. was MOTIVATED to play Michigan. USC was not as motivated to play Oregon St. USC turnovers happened early in game and 3q. OSU turnovers happened when OSU had the lead.

HUGE HUGE HUGE difference.

If Ohio St. had 4 turnovers in the first 3 quarters and gave up a special teams TD, and played @Michigan, OSU loses by double digits. USC lost by 2pts @Oreon St.

USC can hang with Ohio St. if they don't beat themselves. I agree OSU is the best team in CFB.

USC doesn't have speed and talent? :142smilie

USC is NOT Michigan. Michigan D is SLOW. OSU exposed their slow D. USC brand of football is different. OSU "might" have a difficult time adjusting to it. OSU would NEVER get 2 40+ yard TD runs against USC. I think USC has given up 1 TD run over 40 yards in the last 6 years. Only 6 RB's in the last 6 years have rushed over 100 yards against USC. USC is NOT Michigan. (that is a good thing)

TELL ME WHAT MICHIGAN HAS DONE TO IMPRESS YOU?

Michigan's 3 wins against BCS teams with winning records? Is that what impresses you?

I guess USC's 9 wins against BCS teams with a winning record DOESN'T impress you. :142smilie (USC currently has 7, if they win out, they have 9)

Being down by double digits to Ohio St. despite being +3 turnovers? (2/3 being unforced) IS THAT WHAT IMPRESSES YOU?

OOC wins against CMU, Ball St. and Vanderbilt? @ND was impressive.

PLEASE, tell me why Michigan is the #2 team. I bet you can't come up with an argument. :nono:

MICHIGAN DOES NOT HAVE THE RESUME TO BE PUT INTO THE BCS NC! Oh yeah, and they just LOST!

:nono: :nono: :nono:

WOULDN'T YOU RATHER BEAT MICHIGAN and lose to Oregon St.? WOULDN'T YOU RATHER BEAT THE BEST TEAMS ON YOUR SCHEDULE and lose to an average team? :nono:

If USC wins out..........

I would rather be USC and have 9 wins against BCS teams with a winning record. Poor Michigan only has 3. :142smilie

I would rather be USC and have wins @Arkansas (top 10 BCS), Nebraska, @Washington St, Oregon, CAL, ND (currently #5 BCS), and UCLA.

I rather be a 1 loss USC team who played the toughest schedule in the entire country!

Then again, I might want to be Michigan who lost to Ohio St. despite being +3 turnovers. Maybe people on MADJACKS will reward us a trip to the BCS NC for LOSING! They like to reward LOSERS!

You see i told you Big Tease he would come on here and compare the 3 turnovers that Ohio St had to the 4 turnovers that USC had. But now he says USC wasnt motivated against Oregon St. But i thought PC was the best motivator of all time. What happened on that day Scotty Boy, PC didnt feel like motivating..

READ AND COMPREHEND. :director:

USC was on road. OSU was @home.

USC had 4 turnovers in first 3 quarters.
OSU had 3 turnovers and all were AFTER OSU had the lead.

USC also gave up special teams TD. OSU did not.

USC was down 20 some pts at end of 3q. OSU was never down in 2h. USC lost by 2pts. OSU won by 3pts.

Let me add one more thing. USC is an INEXPERIENCED team, vs OSU being experienced. I would expect OSU to overcome turnovers. USC CANNOT afford to turn the ball over against ANYONE!

I have posted how impressed I was with Ohio St. I said they clearly are the #1 team and beating Michigan despite 3 turnovers (2 unforced) was very impressive. Says more about how crappy Michigan is. Michigan was down double digits late 4th being +3 turnovers. Again, I was VERY imrpessed with OSU. I posted that. However, comparing OSU -3 turnovers (W) to USC -4 turnovers (L) is not the same. Not even close.

Why do you consistently compare how many turnovers a fawkin team has and how many special teams TD a team has given up? its all part of a football game bro..

Turnovers OFTEN explain a game. OSU had 2 unforced turnovers against Michigan. That is called 2 gifts. Michigan did NOTHING to force that. Against Oregon St. USC also had 2 unforced turnovers.

Michigan is much worse than people thought. They couldn't compete with OSU despite being +3 turnovers. They were down double digits late 4th. It is scary to think what might have happened if OSU did NOT have 3 turnovers. What if Michigan turned it over? :scared :scared :scared

MICHIGAN looked like an UNDEFEATED team with only 3 wins against BCS teams with a winning record. Put Michigan in back of all 1 loss teams!
