Could not disagree any more. College football is an excellent product.

Agree. Remember when Kay talks to Michael Corleone in The Godfather about how Michael is naive and that senators don't have men killed and Michael says....now who's being naive Kay?
When people say college football is a good product, like Cie puts it-I think of that scene.

The comparison to that scene would make sense were I, or some other supporter of college football, not aware that all major schools, and many minor schools, bend the rules occasionally at minimum and break the rules regularly at maximum.

The on-field product is strong from my perspective. Players receiving benefits does not have a negative impact on the product imo.

I do not watch college football 17 weekends annually because the involved parties are good people. I don't attend several huge tailgates annually outside of Tiger Stadium because the athletes are good students. I simply like the product and the environment.

Youngstown St, Clarett and now this. Who knows what may be unearthed once they are done digging into the buried lies and scandals.

Remember now " GOD HAS A PLAN FOR TRESSEL" of course that plan did not include cover ups and lies.

Ohio St should be heavily punished "if" all is true an "if" more is found. They should be banned from post season play for several years, return $$$ from all bowl games the last few years and lose many, many scholarships.

How these weasels got by without major sanctions from having Clarett on the team and still retained the BCS title is beyond me. Funny how they said everything occurred after the fact. Yea Ok.

Gee should be fired as well. He needs to have that bow tie shoved down his gas bagged throat.

What they have done to this program is beyond sad.

Tressel reminds me of Calipari. Everywhere he goes nothing but stink and scandals follow.

I have always wondered after Clarett went into a tailspin if there was much more going on. I guess we have that answer now.

Maybe ESPN will hire Tressel now. I am sure he could give some good advice on e-mail etiqutte, tattoo discounts and used car sales.

I could say the same thing about MLB during the roids era. Nobody would of really cared about the roids if the stats weren't so legendary. No one seems to care about roids in football like they do in baseball.

Nice to see Tressel out the door. Hate looking at his smug face and and his stupid fucking red sweaters.
