Have a feeling this game will fall below seven before kick..State taking a lot of heat from all they do not deserve to be here, that being said this team is truly loaded and with a poor showing in Big Ten Championship and Clemson's blowout of N Dame seems this line may be inflated..Thinking may be a case of the public loading on Clemson but smart money on Ohio ST..Just my opinion input welcomed..

I will make the market and respectfully disagree.

I loaded up at the open, but I do agree that if you are betting Ohio State, you are sitting back and waiting to see if it will go any higher, but I will be very surprised if it drops below 7. I just think there is too much Clemson support for it to go that low. Maybe briefly, but I doubt they want more Clemson money under 7 since it got hit hard at the open. I am more than happy with my Clemson -6 bet.

I have seen nothing from Ohio State to support them winning this game. Clemson, in my opinion, is the best overall coached team in the country, especially on defense. They will learn plenty from the Northwestern game on how to defend Ohio State. No way they run all over Clemson who will force Fields to throw the ball to beat them, which I do not think he can do. They will watch plenty of the Indiana film and learn how to throw all over Ohio State. If Northwestern has any kind of QB they beat Ohio State as they had players wide open all over the field. I could certainly be wrong, but from every game I have watch, I simply think Clemson is better on both sides of the ball and they will make more plays on defense to cover the game.

Just my two cents. Enjoy the games!

Point well taken and a fair assessment but have seen this scenario before. This Ohio St team was smashed by Covid with 22 players missing and several were key members. I believe motivation will be with the Buckeye's and anyone who has played sports realize this can be HUGE all they have heard is they don't belong and even Dabo gave them bulletin board material//Should be a great game and possibly a upset. But Jesus i'm the worst picker in the world and that is why i rely on friends lol..Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to All Madjackers..:0074

BASON...keep in mind Ohio State was leading Indiana by 4 touchdowns when Indiana made a run at them. And...Indiana is a damn good football team! By the same token, Boston College took Clemson to the wire and had a chance at the upset. But you don't seem to account for that. I'm sure Clemson will get their points, but NO WAY will Clemson stop this Ohio State offense! No way!

I sure don't want to argue with you, as you're entitled to your opinion just like anyone else. Make Ohio State a touchdown underdog, with revenge on their minds from last year, throw in the fact that Sweeney gave them HUGE bulletin board material and I'll take the Buckeyes and 7 1/2 all day long! I guess we can agree to disagree on this game.

I think Clemson and Alabama are way ahead of everyone else. Reminds me of 2005 or 06 when Texas and USC met in the Rose Bowl (Vince Young vs Reggie Bush). They both look unstoppable.

I think Ohio St is very good and somewhat deserving...it's a horrible system even if everyone played 12 games. You can't have 100+ teams and only 4 make the playoffs. Hell, you can't have 5 power conferences, only 4 teams make the playoffs, and 2 of those teams are from the same conference. Even just one more Round would make it so much better. 8 teams. Power 5 conference champions get automatic bid. Then take 3 at-large. You could even throw in that at least one of those at-large has to be non-Power 5 or whatever.

I know 4 teams is the best system we've had but it's still garbage. And it's so easy to fix. But anyway...I think Clemson wins by double digits. Ohio State has a great running game but like said, make them throw and it could get ugly. I love my Irish but unless it's Notre Dame plus 30....I don't even know if I'd take Notre Dame +30. Alabama is a machine and they look just as good w/o Waddle the last few weeks. There's no telling what else is on their bench. They look like they could beat 1/2 of the NFL.

7 point teaser sure does look good. Bama/Clemson. Hope I'm wrong and ND finds a way to make it a game..

I would say having sunshine out has a little something to do with the struggle with BC. I think we saw what the difference looked like Saturday with the ND beatdown. Northwestern held OSU for better part of the game and I am not overly impressed with the brainy kids from NW. I will be Clemson above average. Difference of opinion is what this forum is all about. Best of luck in the bowl games!!

We will have to disagree. The Big Ten was not very good at all this year in my opinion. I love Northwestern football and love the coach but they are very limited on offense. Indiana struggled against a bad Maryland team. Miami and Notre Dame are better than anyone Ohio State played.

Any game Clemson played without Lawrence does not count in my opinion which is why the BC game does not matter and this thinking was proven right given the difference in the Notre Dame games. Lawrence is twice the QB that Fields is when it comes to throwing the football. I was against Clemson in the first game against Notre Dame, against them against BC, all over them against ND the second time and I am all over them against Ohio State. Anything can happen, but Ohio State will have to play significantly better than any other game they played this year to hang with an experienced Clemson team that has been here before.

This is basically the same team for Ohio State that outplayed Clemson last year with Sir Lawrence, although they did lose. But I'm getting better than a touchdown with Ohio State in this game and I'll take that, thank you. And Indiana would easily crunch Miami!

Sounds like you are a fan.

Clemson won by 6 last year and Ohio State only scored 23 points. I expect more of the same this year.

We will see as this is why they play the game, but I already have a lot of money on Clemson -6 and I feel good about it.

For now, I am looking forward to BYU beating up UCF.
