Purdue totally outplayed them & deserved to win.

Man! The story of the year for Purdue. They've won me a big load of money this year by staying close in their games, but it's heartbreaking for a Purdue fan like me, watching them lose close ones like this one.:(

You guys have been running the smack in here all year, our Kids go out a nd play their hearts out! I have kept my fingers and thoughts to myself all along all year, Yes they have struggled along the way especially on the road AND NO WAY would I lay the points in this contest, But to play the money line on purdue for any more than an action bet is not a way to make cash in this pursuit. Why because the Buckeyes defense simply gets it done week after week.

I am from Plain City OH and proud of it I have watched The Nickey boy since freshman in high school. My heart was sad the day he stopped playing high school basketball. He was good on the hardwood also! Donnie scored the only TD for our team in the football playoff game his senior year. A 90 plus yard return. Next spring our baseball team won their division State Championship. with fine talent top to bottom. Our pitching was great and Donnie had a deep fly he ran down along the way to save and extra base hit. They had their diploma's handed to them at home plate after they won the game, as the school would not move the cerimonies. I was there and enjoyed it. I support my team and rarely make a wager on any Ohio St games. Donnie is far from the best player on the Defense but together this team is very good. AS the opposing coach said last year when his team beat Lebron James & company in the championship game, WE KNEW they had a great player, WE felt we had a better team.

That is where I am coming from with my post pure pride,.. thats all take it at that and let the rest of the season tell the story.

Yes tons of Buckeye fans are obnoxiuos. But pride and spirit has a way of slipping into that state of mind.

Best of luck to all !

And as I have said since a 14 year old kid in 1968 GO BUCKS !

TCSN,

how can you say that? Unless there is a game played between these teams, one will never know.........

No one EVER thought NE would defeat the rams....

When it comes time to the big game, one lucky bounce could change all the marbles

<hr>

Let me say this, your team caught all the breaks today & still needed a miracle to pull it out. Your team was flat out lucky as anyone who watched that game knows Purdue was the better team today. Let them keep winning this way as they'll just embarass themselves against a team like Miami or Oklahoma.

Iam sorry Anthony....but I cant see why you can compare the NFL to NCAA.

NFL = PARITY

NCAA = TALENT POOL

and in Ohio St vs. Oklahoma or Miami(FL)s case...talent is with Oklahome and Miami...

I say that with confidence, Ohio State isn't that good. They are no national title contender & if there was a playoff system, they would get knocked out in the 1st rd.

They have looked impressive here & there albeit against so so teams & have been outplayed & should have lost to teams like Purdue, Cincinnati etc...

They would need Jesus to get within 3 against a Miami or Oklahoma.

No way, Miami has proven they are real. Look how long they have gone undefeated, Ohio State is just lucky so far.

hell I am not even a fan of OSU and I am defending them?

LMAO

:D

All I am trying to say is that when it comes to gametime(big dance) ANYTHING can happen, sure I agree from what I have seen so far OSU should lose to OKL and Miami, but SHOULD is the key word, WILL they is the question...........

Would 3 times

Should 4 times

Could not yet

Deserve 1 time

Maybe 1 time

I have to get could on the board,

COULD Iowa beat the Buckeyes, Yes they COULD but we may never know and I thnk home field COULD make the difference.

WAS MIAMI LUCKY that Fla St missed that field goal ????

Come on folks this is college football anything can and does happen, IF that was not the case we would all be rich and the bookies broke.

So keep talkin all your trash, but the fact is when you tune into Monday Night football in a couple nights, you have to look at OHIO STATE as your number one team, and all the junk you talk cant do a damn thing about it. Buckeyes keep winnin' bashers keep:cry: :cry: :cry:

True the buck's have been winning ugly on the road against poor competition, but that defense is tough. It's not like they haven't beaten a quality opponent...... they kicked wash st.'s butt earlier this year. Are they the best team.....prolly not, but everyone slams them like they don't even belong in the top 20. :violin: :violin:

When will the Big 10 get with the program and have a championship game? The top two teams in the conference not playing each other is pure b.s.

I would like to see...

I would like to see...

I would like to see them add a 12th school, ND or maybe Toledo, split into 2 divisions, then have a championship game between the winners.

(I know ND will never join a conference.)

For all the shit that John Cooper did at Ohio State, he did have the solution to the "Notre Dame" problem. If the Big 10 would simply stop playing them, then they would have to go elsewhere and their schedule would be so hectic that their Midwest fan base wouldn't be able to follow them.

Notre Dame lacks a Big 10 affiliation because the Big 10 allows them to.

This Ohio State-Iowa / Miami/Pitt thing is ridiculous. But when the schedule came out, Iowa stunk.

If you want to pick on Ohio State, their schedule this year isn't that good of a reason as they have taken on their conference schedule and they have taken on a mid-level Big XII school and the best team in the Pac 10, as well as two in-state rivals. The reason to question them is for scheduling Wash State and Texas Tech 5 years ago when both programs were the pits. Looks like they were trying to be Kansas State.
