I might be drunk but what team in the current top 5 of the BCS, AP or Coaches Poll has beaten another team in the top 5 of that poll? The answer, the Ohio State Buckeyes! Say what you want, but the OSU D is as good as anyone's in the country. Ask the next Heisman Trophy Winner....Jason Guesser. Scoff, fart or laugh at the above comments but they're true (other than Guesser, but I bet he's even money). And remember, who heard of Josh Heupel until the year OU won the national title. That year, a 12+ underdog put it up Florida State's ass by playing awesome D and scoring just enough on O.

All of the OSU haters, especially the Michigan jack off's (Smooth) will continue to come out doubting the Buckeyes.

But know this, Cooper is gone, and the talent is there to not only make Michigan another team on the schedule, but make a national title run a regular event.

And to Hellah, I respect your knowledge of the MAC. But, to think Toledo will ever become part of the Big 10 is ridiculous. We heard the same shit in the late 80's when Toledo was ruling the MAC and the Big 10 was just starting to thing of increasing teams. The Big 10 will always "flirt" with the MAC but no way will they ever add a team from the MAC. Just think it through. It would be a no win situtation for the Big 10.

I'm not a huge OSU fan but, if you're from Ohio, and some part of you isn't excited about what OSU has brought to the State...then get the f*ck up north and pray that UM can pull it out again.

OSU was outcoached, out offensed, and out efforted today against Purdue and still won. Get on the bandwagon and our apologies to all of the Big 12 fans who expect to be apart of the national title.

First of all you must have been drunk. Big 10 has always talked about inviting Toledo in the Big 10. Now what makes you think we wont be succesful??? Because we are in the MAC...do you not realize what being in the Big 10 does to a program??? You get better recruits....

By the way....Toledo has a winning overall record over Big 10 schools. Nothing is better then beating Purdue few years back when Purdue won the Big 10.

This conference has changed over the last 5 years....and it`ll change even more for the next 5.

Yeah, OSU is not Miami (or Oklahoma for that matter) when it comes to all-around talent on offense, defense, and special teams. If you've been around for even one week to see them play you would notice just how bad their Offense really is (especially without clarrett). Krenzel is no dorsey and the o-line just plain sucks. But the fact is, no matter how you slice it, they are undefeated. How many other teams can say they are unbeaten this year??? One. You guys, especially TCSN, have dogged on OSU's schedule saying "ohhhh its soooo easy." I'd say a rank of 21 according to the last BCS ranking is not shabby at all. In my opinion, OSU fan or not, any undefeated team this far into the season deserves respect. Their defense is, barnone, top 5 if not 3 in the country. They haven't allowed a 2nd half TD in 5 games. They haven't given up a TD period in the last 3 games. So what? you say, these teams aren't Miami or Oklahoma, but they are good conference teams none the less - and not IU or Northwestern or MSU either. I didn't see Oklahoma or Miami doing that to comparable teams (A&M, Mizzou, RUTGERS, wvu...catch my drift)
Its one thing to say OSU sucks against the spread - which seems to be hellahs argument - but to say they suck is just bitterness b/c your team isn't where the bucks are (oklahoma, florida, texas, iowa). There is a huge chance that the bucks won't win it all, let alone win out, but I believe it was GENO who said OSU fan pride can end up looking like inflated ego or something to that effect, and it is well said, but the fact is we HAVE to stand up for our team. You guys take no time to criticize, but we are top 2 in the country. Give'em a little respect.


p.s. Name one stand-out recruit that Toledo "stole" from a big-10 team other than IU or northwestern. (don't think chester taylor was stolen cause he wasn't even recruited)

Chester Taylor was recruited to be a Strong Saftey by Michigan St....

Wesean Tait was recruited to be a Corner Back by Michigan, Purdue, and Pitt

Clarence Love was recruited but would have had to back up Shawn Springs....went to Toledo and started right away...

Jason Lamar recruited by Michigan St....started right away at Toledo

Tom Ward recruited by Ohio St....started right awau at Toledo

This year Quiton Broussard got recruited by every Big 12 school including some SEC schools...but they all wanted him to be a DB just like his brother Mike Broussard who left Wisconsin to come to Toledo. We took him and has gotten playing time every game, including 62 yards this past Saturday against Central Michigan...

see a trend...they get recruited...but we give them the chance to play...

I have watched every OSU game this year and attended 2 of the games in person, the team is a good team but not a great team. Personally, I would rank them between 5-8 this year. If the win out then they deserve to go to the title game, thats the way the system is set up and you cannot fault the Buckeyes. Personally, I really couldnt see them beating, Miami, Okl, USC, Geo or Iowa. I also think that on a neutraul field it would be a toss up against: Fla, bama, KSU, Tex, Wash State and a few others. Clarett, will not be healthy the rest of this year, I have had stingers before and the only cure that I have found is no contact, but I wish Tressel the best of luck the guy is a first class leader and a all around good guy. Let the games play out and see what takes place, stranger things have happened.
