Mike Comrie was back on his skates, the lines were filled out again and now Edmonton Oilers head coach Pat Quinn just has to wait and see what happens between now and game time.
The flu-bitten Oilers, after a day away from the rink, returned to Rexall Place to prepare for Tuesday night?s game against the red-hot Colorado Avalanche.
So far, he has enough players, which wasn?t the case in Calgary when the Oilers had 11 forwards.
?I think we?ll be fine for tonight. We don?t expect to lose any others,? said Quinn.
Comrie, who missed the last two games, was back skating with Shawn Horcoff and Patrick O?Sullivan. The Dustin Penner-Sam Gagner-Ales Hemsky line remained intact.
?It?s going to run its course, there?s lots of stuff going around,? Quinn said.
Oil drops ? Fernando Pisani practised with the Oilers for the first time since the pre-season. He has been out with a back injury. Pisani expects he?ll be back in a week.
