Sportscenter forget the black guys name but he was just doing a thing on old players and coaches going back home this week to old teams to play or coach with new team.

here is how he started it out , like your family reunion you know with (off the wall black women names can't spell easy names balck green or white but you will get the jest.) latisa and a few more names like that barbacue ribs, chicken colar greens and then went into the dtory now what happens if a white guy started it out like that? then in his geenbay recap he used the statement hey can't a brother get a somthing, re watch it will be the same one ran all am, but is that pc to say the barbuce chicken ribs and colored greens and then the black names like latishia and the few others he throw out will anyone be bitching about that? and is that a proper lead in?

didn't see it, but would almost bet that it's Stuart Scott. If so, he does that schtick all the time.

yes that is who it was could not think of his name. So is there anything wrong with a lead in like that do you think, i might be the only guy in the world who did not hear the rush statement i read it a little because like i said shit like that just rolls down my back i don't get into the words hurt my feeling shit unless they are really bad , hell i get called worse here sometimes at madjacks, and when i coached to my face:D part of life people must learn to deal with words. but if what i read and it was little but enough to get the jest of what rush said and with sportstalk radio what is the differencr between this lead in it is some what raciest, hell look at what f.zeller went through when he said boy and collard greens and barbacue chicken so what is the damn difference except it came out of a black reporters mouth:shrug: This is why o don't care for media or goverenment to much seems like lot of double standards imo. but i vote so i have the right to bitch.

Your right Fletcher. There sure are double standards being used. Even if a white person says something that is true but not PC he would most likely lose his job while a black person can say most anything. We need to thank our government for most of this mess.

Hello, what about Dusty Baker? He said his black players were more suited to play in the heat because they were decendents of slaves who worked the cotton fields in the heat, and his white players werent used to it. That blew over in less than a week, no suspension, no fine, nothing. Cant find the exact quote he used, but it was a doozy. To say nothing of guys like Stuart Scott, they use 'honky' and 'cracker' all the freaking time, but if a white reporter even utters something that sounds racist, not something that is racist, but something that in some way shape or form could be construed as racist, the PC Police demand his firing.

a common reaction to our internal prejudices is to be extra "nice" to people who we have prejudice against.....

anyone with any kind of background in psychology or psychiatry will realize this......

so the "ignorance" falls squarely on the faces of those who are quick to judge Rush....they are not aware of a possible media inflation of a guy because of his skin color....

one of the things we do when we feel internal guilt towards someone is to treat them with extra leniance.....questioning the possibilitiy of this in this context of the conversation is perfectly reasonable to any informed, intelligent person

only the ignorant are quick to judge
