Very hesitant to play VT. Beamer's team has their backs to the wall, but I think he will have them ready for Miami. I also think the 'Canes are overrated. Will wait and check the line later in the week............

a week ago hokies were -3, now after WV pommeling, its +4.5; cant really recall too many times a line has moved 7.5 in one week, and Canes didnt even play!

have feeling line will climb, Pub will recall WV debacle and that Canes beat BC and Noles on rd with ease ... gotta think Tech is licking wounds and was waiting 350+ for this rematch ...

Canes as we all know could have 2 losses--at home nonetheless; give them their due, they have been maniacs on the rd the past few years, only BC throwing a real scare in 2001 and a young Hokie team in Canes NC run as a 14 pt dog losing 26-24 ...

Hokie seniors have waited 2 years for this, question is, will their special teams be speedy enuff, disrupt the game, etc ... Hokies have scored 71 pts in last 2 meetings, now their D must show up, something that didnt manifest in Morgantown ...


I teased Hokies +11.5 to usc -4 so far; but will ML it too

no disresepct for Canes, but really think a lot of this MO is result of flood Rix/Noles game and head games Canes play with Bowden ...


I still cant see a 7.5 swing off one game making sense, like i said had WV or Gators beat Canes, this line would be even IMO

Like Tech a whole lot here. Still think Miami is overrated and Tech has been looking forward to this one all year. BC-Pitt I'm not so sure about. BC is a decent club and has covered something like 13 of last 14 BE games at home. Pitt has been up and down. Pitt should win but seems like a close game that either team could win. Either way, good luck.

Pitt definatley looks great which actually scares me a bit. Im not sure about the Miami/V-Tech game. Hurricanes have had 2 weeks to prepare for this game, so that could be a difference.

Blacksburg at night is not going to be a friendly environment for the Canes. I recommend everyone black out the VT pounding in Morgantown last WED. On paper...VT matches up quite well with the Canes:

Running Game- advantage VT
QB- Berlin is a statue and prone to throw bad passes. VT has dual threat of run and pass- advantage VT
Defense- Speed is equal and I see no advantage for either side - EVEN

Special Teams- Gotta give the edge to the home team here..although, Miami has weapons.

Home Field Advantage.....Huge VT adventage.

VT moneyline and will take the points.
