yeah BP...based on Atlanta winning at home to take the 6 seed...Saints win and take the South title..Carolina loss gives them second place in the South and the 5 seed which is what the Rams want I guess.Carolina makes the East to West trip then Rams get to go to Philly as margwellus so alertly pointed out..I never gave any thought to the Rams tanking but it makes a lot of sense now that he brings it up .

NBA is rough :0003) I never said anything about the Rams and Vikes being in the NFC championship, merely pointing out that I think the Rams have more thought to it than "just resting our guys" in week 17. Thanks for the correction on their prior game to the Eagles (the one they lost 43-35 where the d scored on the last play of the game and one where Carson Wentz was behind center for most of the game. Eagles haven't actually been "in rhythm" since Foles has been behind center and I think the Rams would just prefer to play an Eagles team they almost beat with Wentz as opposed to playing the Vikes who they lost to 24-7. IMNSHO I don't think Atlanta or Carolina give anyone much trouble but I would fear the Saints some and can never count out Wilson and the Seadawgs (should Atlanta fold like the cheap tent that they are against Carolina this weekend). Either way the NFC is gonna be wild fun, where the money to be made will be in the AFC. Good luck and enjoy the games!

the vikings win over Rams very misleading. Rams went away from Gurley early. Kupp fumbled on Vikes 1. Rams corner goes down and Thelein takes a 5 yard pass 60 some yards. that was 7-7 going into 4th.. i do think the Vikes are saving someting for playoffs.. lool half speed

Yeah the Vikings might not get to the Super Bowl but it will have nothing to do with the fact that they are hosting or that they played in London..

The 85 Bears is just an example. Did ya know a lot of Super Bowls were hosted in stadiums that no NFL team played in? How about the Niners winning they didn't play in their stadium but they played in a stadium that was 10 miles away. The teams that usually host the Super Bowl were not very good. Saints and Detroit. If Dallas had the stadium they have now back in the day they would have hosted.. There just hasn't been much opportunity. Most teams who have gone to London haven't been powerhouse teams.

I know who they lost to in 1998, I can tell you what happened in just about every Viking games since 1980.

Saints.. won
Rams won
Falcons won
Panthers lost

3-1 vs nfc playoff teams.

They had the 10th toughest schedule in the NFL..

I also remember watching a bowl game that was Ohio State and Penn State and I remember the name Art Schlitzer...and he prob had money on that game..haha...must have been '78 or '79 I need to google it. Those 3 games are some of my earliest memories of football and have been watching my whole life.

Oh yeah, I also remember Rams/Cowboys and Rams/Buccaneers that might have been 1979. I remember a game that was 9-0 so that might have been it and I think they were both playoff games.
