He has what look like bandages on the outside of bot of his upper arms. On closer inspection, it looks like a medical tape called Hypafix or Medfix that is usually used to secure dressings. I have also seen some football players who are playing on astroturf put this tape on their elbows I guess to protect them from the turf. Now, why does he need them on his upper arms? Wonder if it's something he has done in the past for an injury and now it's just a ritual or superstition. Anybody know?

BTW, doesn't look like he's getting much help from his teemmates. Oak Hill is rocking them.

The kid is good, real good for a HS player. I bet he goes pro right out of HS, and that is a shame. I think the college disipline will help him elevate his pro career to an even greater level. Even though his game looks sharp, NBA vetrans like Kobe, AI, and Shaq would absolutely rock his little world on the court right now. GO TO COLLEGE BRO!!! :nono:

I respectfully disagree, Stuman, I think he has to look out for his long term interests which have to include income. He can always go back to college. If he goes to college and then is in a tragic automobile accident and becomes a paraplegic, then where will he be? If he is a lock for the number one pick in June and that big contract and even bigger endorsement deals, he has to go pro.

He can already play in the NBA and hold his own. Sure, Kobe, McGrady, etc., would 'rock his world', but they do that to everyone else that play against anyway. Zero chance he goes to college...his game is above that level now and he would be wasting his time there (as much as I hate high schoolers entering the draft).

I know, I know, you guys are probably right. But aren't there a lot of young stars with NBA potential that take out multi-million dollar insurance policies to protect against something that could ruin their NBA career? With that said, I still think I would go pro out of HS if someone was dangling millions above my head. The money, lifestyle, women, etc. It is all just too tempting. I just hate to see it, because I love college b-ball so much. I follow the Memphis Tigers for the most part, and I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Wagner going pro after one year. Damn he's good, had 33 points the other night. Rookie of the year, maybe? And then there's Amare Stoudemire who verbally commited to Memphis but then went straight to the NBA. He wouldn't have been able to play college ball anywhere, because he and his family were taking money from Nike I think. But if Wagner and Stoudemire were at Memphis this year...gives me a hollow feeling in my stomach. :nooo:

I know....:violin:

Knock 'em dead, James ;)
