Price is going to be Price tonite, and he will be throwing dead red and hard. Just the pitch that Texas hitters (yes, even this year) love to hit in that ballpark.
If Price gets hit around early, which is quite possible, and Maddon has a quick hook, they will have a very tired bullpen. They used all of those guys and more in the series vs the Jays. I watched all of it, and yesterday the closer Crooked Hat was in for a couple of innings with very stress pitching. The Jays came back from 7-0 to make it 7-6 by the ninth, with runners on. The Rays' pen was stressed, to say the least.
So there are very few rabbits for Maddon to pull out of his hat IF THE GOING GETS TOUGH.
