Hopefully we can fill this up with local knowledge.....But I think one of the most important factors in this bowl season is if we can find out how many tickets have been sold to each universities fans.

As I am sure most saw last year it was like a home game for Ohio State in the NC....and that was HUGE. If we can get this info ahead of time on schools and the fanbase they will have this can be great info.

The only thing I am able to find so far is that Oklahoma State should have about twice the fans as Ole Miss. 40,000 to 20,000 sold already.

Anyone know anything else?

Per AJC, Clemson has been allotted 20,000, and UT 16,000.

I was just in Waterloo, Iowa for business and all over the news out there was how Florida had known its fate well before Iowa was invited to the Outback Bowl. I guess the game sold out by Tuesday (just 48 hours after Iowa was invited) and people were in an uproar. It sounded like 80% of Raymond James Stadium is going to be Gator Fans.

Funny how the lead story on the local 6pm news this past Monday and Tuesday out there was "Iowa is going to the Outback Bowl". Small town USA and cold as hell.

Peach Bowl--As djv stated, the ticket allottment for the schools is about even. That leaves another 40K + to sell. Atlanta is heavily populated with both ACC and SEC alum, so I don't see there being much of an advantage on either side. UT fans historically travel really well, but they are rightfully upset with this bowl bid. Both schools are about equidistance from Atlanta as well. I just think the place is going to be rowdy. Got my club level seats yesterday, and I am pumped to see a good game!

Gator Bowl....WVU was given 12,500 tix...requested and sold 9K more........21K total. Maryland has sold 11K. But, I don't think these things matter...WVU always travels better than their opponent and have lost 9 of last 10 bowl games

Iowa outnumbered SC on a 5-1 margin in the Orange Bowl last year. It didnt make much of a difference even when it was close.

Peach Bowl --

A lot of Clemson fans have reported buying from the UT ticket office. UT is disappointed to be in this bowl (they don't seem to realize that although they're ranked #6 in the nation, they're probably just the fifth-best SEC team). And Clemson has lots of scores to settle with the Vols, whom Clemson hasn't payed since '76. Should be 45,000 to 50,000 Clemson fans there.

I went to the Outback last year and it was at least 85% Florida. Iowa fans will travel reasonably well, but the stadium will be 80% plus Gators fans and loud.
