Oklahoma st (-5) over G'tech
The best playes for the yellow jackets are their guards, IMO the cowboys just beat the best guard tandom in the nation last week in Nelson and West. Plus Elder is not 100% so I don't think he will be very effective. The big man in the middle for GT is OK and towers over the Okla St forwards but I still think toughness wise the cowboys have the edge. Watching GT vs. Kansas there was no one else on the floor that was willing to take shots besides Simeion. Late in the game someone else got hot and thats when the game got close. IMO Okla St has more weapons and should not allow the offense to be run through one guy so GT will have a harder tie on defense. Jack cannot carry this team again, he will be very tired having to run with the Okla st offense after last week.
UConn (-2) over Duke
This is an even match-up in every catagory other than size. Randolph cannot stay with the trees on UConn. This forces Deng to guard one of them. Williams will be on Okafor, this favors UConn is O is healthy. Guards JJ and Duhon vs. Brown and Gordon all good players and all should have a great game. Duhon will be all over Gordon but Gordon is hot right now so he will find some shots. IMO the X factor is Anderson from UConn he (if hot) can come out and give you 25 points today. Aganst Bama Anderson and Gordon put 60 plus out of the 80 plus points scored. Bama was a quick team that IMO over-achieved but still gave UConn a great practice against a speedy offense like Dukes. Looking at the Xaiver game I just don't think Duke would have won if Miles (fouled out with 8 mins t go) would have remained in the game. This leads me to like UConn becaus of their inside game. Too many big men that can soot from 15 feet and in!
