OU -15 over North Texas ****
OU coming off a big win vs Bama...NT coming off a close win vs Northwood{ good team}.But North Texas is the same team..Poorly coached, can't shoot from anywhere and no one passes the ball...they shot 28% from the 3 the other nite at home and last yr was one of the worst shooting teams in the country. They have some talent but no team play ,no screens, just run and gun.Lyr they had Mitchell a 2nd rd NBA player and still lost.Benford is a terrible coach and has no idea what he is doing...they have Walton back and Williams can score but the team has no basketball IQ what so ever...Last yr when I got to see them play vs Ark St or Ark-LR,Mitchell didn't touch the ball for 10 minutes and on a 3-1 break the pt gd didn't hit either wing and went straight up for a layup...the problem was the one defender took a charge..offensive foul....NT called time out and we were right behind Benford..never said a word to Williams....that kid would of been pulled so fast..anyway..
OU has Hield who can score...the Zaga transfer Spangler had a double d vs Bama...Clark looked good...think they roll over the undisciplined Mean Green...

Rutgers +6.5 over UAB ***
Red shirt frosh Jack scored 30 the other nite.He is an impact player at 6'9.Mack is back and he can score.Jordan got a few transfers and juco's together and they are talented esp Pitt transfer Moore..Think it will take awhile for them to gel but think they give UAB a game tonite.UAB also has some juco's coming in but think they could have a problem with Jack.

Canisius -11.5 over South Dakota **
Griffs have the 2nd best player in the MAAC in Baron son of Baron the coach. He can out and out play...Shoot,drive play d and pass...some have them favored to win the MAAC..Baron has a lot of talent..Heath at 6'9 is back. They have a red shirt frosh,a transfer and Lewis a true frosh..All can play...plus my 2nd favorite MAAC player Manhertz...love this guy...avg only 7 pts and 6 bds...blue collar player and think he'll almost be a double d player this yr...does everything including getting offensive fouls...SD got beatt by the Bonnies the other nite by 22 pts..They shot 33% from the field and 22% from the 3....think the Griffs are better then the Bonnies and Griffs playing at home..SD defense will have a tough time stopping Baron and co esp with their gd play...

URI +6.5 over Smoo *
Smoo loaded with everyone back and a whole bunch of new talent esp super frosh Frazier. But URI has Munford who didn't play well the other nite.He is tough..but Onyekaba is an impact player who had 21 pts the other nite...A few transfers will give Hurley a shot in his 2nd yr as a coach. Powell is a good pt gd and should handle the road crowd...Munford needs to step up tonite and if he does Smoo will have a close game on their hands.

Yest finally hit 2 shots and no misses...

Hate too disagree with you B&1 but UAB is my Best Bet tonight. I think the Scarlet Knights will miss Eli Carter badly tonight in their first road test @ Bartow Arena. Best JUCO transfer in this game is the Blazer's Chad Frazier who is a "Diamond In The Rough". Think the Blazers win this match-up by DD's. Just my opinion for what it's worth & may the best team win!!! :yup

Good Luck with your "Other" selections tonight!!! :D

Losing Carter was big but he also had some internal problems...he took shots from all over and then never got back on defense..can't remember how many times I saw that...losing Poole hurt more..but Jack who has no shot will hang in the paint and get some put backs and score inside..Mack is pretty solid at gd and Seager is back..what a funny story..left RU for Auburn..went a month to classes and returned to RU...Brown a juco transfer should help and I like Moore a lot...think they will play better defense and hustle..on the road the Nites are ?able..at the RAC they play everyone tough..they blew Fl AM out the other nite but gave up 82 pts..UAB is tough but think the Nites play tough for their new coach..GL ..

Yeah, I'm familiar with the Jerome Seagears Saga & rumor has it that the curriculum here @ Auburn was just TOO TOUGH for the young man. :joke: :142smilie
