Unless I missed it somewhere, did anyone know before the game that Blake Griffin was playing? I thought he was supposed to be out a few weeks.

did anyone know, i did not have money on the game, but if alot of people thought he wasnt playing and somehow he did and scored 17pts, the game should be voided in my opinion, because that gives an advantage to people with "inside" knowledge. Unless I am mistaken and people did know he was gonna play, than forget what i said, but I saw from a couple of sites that said he was out.

Blake Griffin returns, plays in first half at Baylor

Oklahoma freshman Blake Griffin returned earlier than expected.

About two weeks earlier.

Griffin checked into the Sooners' game against Baylor with 14:31 left in the first half Saturday, just 12 days after he sprained his medial collateral ligament at Kansas Jan. 14.

The 6-foot-10 freshman was expected to miss up to four weeks and only began light workouts with the team Wednesday.

He was scheduled to meet with OU team doctor Brock Schnebel before the team left for Waco Friday.

Griffin played seven minutes in the first half, contributing two points, two assists and seven rebounds, though he made just one of six field goal tries.

The Sooners held a 39-30 halftime advantage over the No. 25 Bears.

This seems like it was posted after the game started, I would like to know anyone that knew this before the game started, it doesnt seem fair to me:shrug:

I'm kind of confused by your posts. Are you saying that the sportsbooks should void all Oklahoma bets if it turns out OU knew he was going to play but didn't make it public? This stuff happens all the time. Teams are under absolutely no obligation to disclose who will play and who won't.

I know teams are not obligated to, but when it says he is out up to 4 weeks, not doubtful or probable or questionable, but out, and plays a significant amount of time, it doesnt seem fair to me, Im just saying its not fair, and people can gain an unfair advantage on the game, I just want it to be fair for everyone.

I understand what you're saying. Maybe they knew he was close to being back but didn't actually expect him to play? Maybe he talked the coach into letting him play some? I'm not sure.

I'm glad he played as I took Oklahoma +5 for a nice winner:00hour

I also had losers on Okie State ML, Temple ML (Brutal loss!), and West Va -2 (another tough loss). Overall, today really hurt.

Have USC +3.5 LARGE late trying to make a dent in a forgettable day.

Doesn't matter if he played or not it was a bad bet to take Baylor today off of their 5 overtime marathon win Wednesday night. The biggest mistake gamblers make is basing their plays off of the last game. Unbelievable flat spot today for Baylor and laying points to boot.

Im more talking about the fairness of the bet, you know the linesmakers knew he was probably gonna play but, it seems like no one else did. Not fair say if you were betting with matchbook and only a few knew he might play and many others didnt, just want it to be fair.

You said it yourself "out up to 4 weeks"...he was out, now he is in...he has no obligation to stay out if he is able to play...

Like I said earlier I saw at a few sites that said he was out of today's game(its only be 1.5 weeks
) and I still dont see where someone found out he was gonna play, its more about everyone having about the same information, alot of places said he was out today, but somehow he played, now that is misinformation. In these kind of situations the linesmaker and some privileged people have an advantage over everyone else.
