All-American receiver Justin Blackman wll now be playing on Sundays, and Josh Cooper and Hubert Anyiam are also gone. Worse yet, Michael Harrison left the team after being suspended by the NCAA for the entire 2012 season. So who will step up as the next go-to-guy in Stillwater? Tracy Moore, Josh Stewart and Isaiah Anderson will need to have strong workouts in order for coordinator Todd Monken to have confidence that his air attack will be productive in the fall. Keep an eye on tight end Blake Jackson an early enrollee JCCO transfer who was an All-American last year.

Maybe a better question for the Cowboys is 'Who will throw the football'.....Brandon Weeden is gone.

Good question. Gundy has not named a starter and is still evaluating the 3 they have. Not good thing at all. Personaly I am more worried about the offensive line.

Yeah Jaxx, after returning all 5 starters last season, the O-line will need some attention this season. I believe the entire left side of the line is gone. C - Gardner, G - Rush and T - Adcock. The offense may take some bumps early for sure.

Eight or niine defensive starters return so defense will be depended on to carry the team early.

Back to the good old Aggie football

We may have a down year after what the program accomplished this last year and going 32-7 the last three years. Easy for you to make a smartass jab at the team. But the program is strong. So just enjoy!

Wow, Okie State is going to start their true frosh qb. To me that's very suprising. I would expect Walsh to transer out of their. He's a talented qb who more than likely went to the wrong school to begin with. I hope Gundy knows what he's doing. Coaches that make bad decisions on freshman qbs tend to have several bad seasons ahead of them. You know he'll take his lumps in his first year but the problem is when he keeps giving you flashes of greatness in his shophmore year but by his junior year is still only giving you flashes. By his senior year you know he's not the one and you waisted 3 years. IMO it's what Texas did with Chris Simms and it cost them several years.

I agree Layinwood. Suprised the hell out of me naming a true freshman as the starter. Not one to
2nd guess Gundy but like you say he better be right. He may have Lunt on a short leash. We shall see.
