Last game in college football - let's hit it.

Saban is a heck of a coach and he has his defense playing amazing. His defense only gave up 15 touchdowns ALL season long. LSU is only giving up a little over 60 rushing yards and under 200 yards through the air. Oklahoma's D is nothing to sneeze at though only giving up 110 on the ground and a mere 146 through the air.

Oklahoma as we all know can score. They have scored 68 times and puts up 460 yards a game on offense. LSU also has a great offense scoring 52 times and 427 yards a game.

I see Oklahoma jumping out to a lead and I don't think LSU can match them touchdown for touchdown. Many will say that Oklahoma won't score that much so LSU won't have to match them and will keep it close but I disagree. Oklahoma will pick up chunks of yards through the air in my opinion and will be able to pound this great LSU defense. I see Oklahoma being crowned 2004 National Champions of college football.

My pick: Oklahoma -6

Good luck with your bets.

I am taking LSU's blitzing 'D' and LSU +7. LSU ML and the under. Also hate betting against a bowl team playing at "home". GL.

Those are ALL valid points and I'm glad my guy has the line at 6. If LSU does win the game - I'll be very happy for Nick Saban. My money though, will be on Oklahoma.

Good luck Wolver!

Playing Oklahoma -6.5 - but have to admit if this game wasn't the last one of the year it would probably be a pass.

My thoughts: LSU's Defense is great, but I really think that Oklahoma's D is pretty awesome itself. The difference in my mind is the offenses, where I'll take the Sooners in a heartbeat. Another point I like that is Stoops has been in this situation before and gotten the job done, where Sabin (a great coach too) does not have the big game experience.

One other point to consider: I think that a lot of people view Kansas St's poor performance as a sign that Oklahoma will stubble. Let's face it, there were a lot of extenuating circumstances around K St and anyone that thinks it didn't effect them is misguided. I don't think we saw the true Kansas St team, I mean come on, I can't imagine what it would be to play like with a sexual assault on your mind.

Just my 2 cents - lets hit this and end the season on a positive note.
