Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
Simply the best...

so simple, I make 3 at a time and freeze 2.

Ingredients 1.5 lbs ground beef
3/4 cup milk
3/4 cup oats (oatmeal)
1/4 cup chopped onion (any kind)
salt and pepper (a couple big shakes each)

Mix together an let it sit for 20 minutes or so.
Put in loaf pan, (drag a finger across the top to create a trench for a portion of the sauce, keep the rest for dinner dipping.) and bake at 375 for 35-45 minutes.

Sauce 2/3 cup ketsup, 3 Tablspns brown sugar, 2 Tablspn mustard...mix together and add to trench before placing in oven.

you could easily add peppers and modify to your taste.

When I make meat loaf I use cracker and bread crumbs instead of oatmeal and I also use an egg or two. Everything else is about the same. I'll have to try the oatmeal way.
