I was just thinking about this as it is snowing a lot here today. My grandpa used to go out in snow storms like we are having today and he threw out grass seed. He said the snow would help drive it into the ground to grow later? He always had a nice lawn. Any truth to that or just a bunch of malarkey?

many older than me timers say the same thing..

I tested a spot along my long walkway and under the frontyard swing this winter..

re-seeded those spots around NOV.

today we cut the lawn for the first time since..

as thick as carpet and as green as any lawn I take care of..

it snowed twice over the winter ..

works in my opinion..
