What a bunch of good teams playing today in this tourney in Orlando....but the toughest game is Siena-Tenn....I had the line at Tenn -10 or -11. A low double digit #..Was going to grab the points because I think Siena can stay with the Vols..but the line is Tenn -7.5...so I really should go the other way and take the Vols...but can't do it...to much heart and soul with the Saints...

Siena +7.5 over Tenn **
Siena is tough. There is no doubt about that.Forget they play in the MAAC.This team is quick, plays pressure defense, drives to the hoop, can shoot and has improved there defense.Lyr they went on a run at the end and beat Vandy at the big dance.Of course Vandy lyr beat Tenn...Tenn lost its outside shooting but is loaded. They have such good athletes. They start 4 guys over 6'7.They are quicker, more physical, better rebounders,etc..Chism is 6'9 and 240 goes up against saints Rossiter who is 6'9 and a string bean. The wind can knock Rossiter down..even though they say he went on a weight program this year. Saints have kenny hasbrouck an outstanding gd. He would start on any BE team but not dominate like he does in the MAAC.Put Siena in the BE this year and they would be in the upper 3rd in standings.
Think that guys like Ubiles,Franklin etc will not be intimatated by the Vols today...but Pearl is a good coach. His "control chaos" can wreck havoc on many teams..Think the Saints play like champs today..national TV exposure..guys like Ubiles and hasbrouck get to be seen by everyone.
Saints play there "A" game today. Hasbrouck had the best line comparing the two teams yesterday " we finish with layups, they finish with dunks". Feel like telling Kenny..."but they both count as 2 pts."...Playing with my heart here which is not good...many of us know thats not how you come out ahead in this game...

be back later to do a few more. This game is a noon 12.00 ealrly start.

Last nite was a nightmare on how the Purdue game ended..thought we won with the -10..then missed Ft's by Purdue,Then a 3 pt shot off balance that BC hits...Purdue goes up by 9 with some FT's. About 4 seconds left..looks like a push at -9..Purdue fouls 70 feet from the basket with 4 seconds left...BC hits the FT's and Purdue wins by 7..ahh..hate losing like that...but like I said a million times...we all would be on a beach in the caymans if we really knew what we were doing..
Everyone have a Happy Thanksgiving..Hope everyone is healthy and stays safe..

airportis..your right about McClinton..he could be 1st team all BE..my saints are not looking good..they did get some bad calls so far but thats not the problem...Tenn looks a lot more physical.Tenn has greyhounds...Siena are the saint bernards..

Ohio but not a Buckeye
2h's to basketball...Siena just needs to eliminate its turnovers...they'll make a little run and make it a game, however TENN is definately better at this point in time.

you are right box, i really like the saints but they cant really hang with a team this big and physical...they have zero presence inside on either end of the court...they got down 20 pts with tenns best player on the bench with 2 fouls...yikes....i am hoping they can crawl back into it with free throws because thats about the only Tenn. weakness
