Figured I'd share a few pics from 2016, when I was lucky enough to visit Pearl Harbor shortly before the 75th anniversary of the attack.
The support for Gun Turret #3 is still above water.
The USS Arizona still leaks oil (a few quarts a day). They say it's the ship weeping for the men who were killed.
The names of those who were killed.
And the survivors who decided their final resting place should be with their shipmates.
It was a powerful experience. I hope to get back at least once more.
Thank you to all who made the ultimate sacrifice in service of this country.
