first time visiting this site in months. hope the offseason treated you well Corley :0008

glad to be capping again. everywhere I see people think OM is a steal. normally means it's a headscratching Loss. I just remember Vandy giving USCe all they could handle opening night last year. And Kimbrow is a pretty solid replacement for Stacy.

Losing Rodgers obviously has to hurt. But the way I look at any other players they lost... the recruiting under Franklin has been great - not great by elite team standards but head and shoulders ahead of Vandy norms - so the replacements at any position from a void left by a pre-franklin player has to be an upgrade talent-wise.

if the game was on Saturday, it would be a pass. but hell it's opening night and my dick will be way too hard to not get some action on this game :SIB

they are ALL Franklin recruits ... 3 redshirt freshmen and a juco transfer

I meant "players they lost" as in upperclassmen lost to graduation/draft. I'm no Vandy expert but I don't think any of the rapists were big contributors. Getting some bad apples definitely comes with the territory of recruiting elite athletes, unfortunately

But like I said the kids they lost to graduation were pre-Franklin kids and their replacements should be more talented players... who have been developed under a superior coaching staff since they got on campus.

Putting this game into perspective from the OM stand point. If OM loses to Vandy, there is a good chance that they could start the season 1-6 or 2-5 going into the Idaho game. Auburn being the other game that could go either way. With all of the hype that OM has preseason, a start like that would be disastrous.
