I'm a dayton alumni. You have oliver purnell as your new coach, HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! That guy stinks
I'm a huge UD basketball fan...grew up watching every game from the second row...you can imagine how disapointed I was after watching the tulsa game...
so with that said, I've been watching ollie for awhile and I'm not sad to see him go...
he has improved a lot in his coaching in the last couple of years but when he started at UD it was pathetic...by far one of the worst under 2 minute coaches in the nation, but he has improved on that and I wish him well in the ACC...
Now what lies ahead for the flyers? Hopefully Ron Jirsa will step up as head coach because we all know that he had A LOT to do with Ollie's improvement over the past few seasons...I see this as a step in the right direction for the flyers and with 3 big men inside next year and hopefully some recruits and the likes of marshall and williams I see another successful season for the flyers...
