In all seriousness, I care because the wonderful United States of America (I AM being serious--no irony or sarcasm there...for a change) has been, is, and will be a leader in whatever direction our world will head.

Sure, I still fear the status quo and the possibiility that once in power Obama will succumb to the wishes of the dipshits that really control things behind the curtains (please don't get me started on this one), but I am quite convinced that this is the best move-

ExtraP,

I can see where you're coming from and there will be a change...hell the big "slowdown" has obviously already started. BUT, whichever one of these two "puppets" gets in I still feel the bigboys have a pretty good handle on things.
Either one of these two WILL portray the USA as a "kinder, gentler" nation, while the real shotcallers have set the stage for a pretty good forward movement. They've got the entire world economy slowed to a more "workable" level, while forcing all those "boomers" to work longer. They've given the "moneymen" even more control with that last maneuver they pulled off, but in the whole scheme of things it'll be better for the "system". And those terrorists....
well I'm sure you should know by now that those yahoos are as manipulated as our public is.
Obama...IF he does get in, he'll "playball" or else he'll be taken out quicker than weasle can say socialist. He's a smart guy though, he knows where his bread and butter comes from. I have little doubt he'll play the game. I'm sure you're probably aware that ZBIG (trilateral comm co-founder and CFR hotshot) , and his son Mark run Obama's campaign while his other son Ian is involved with McCain's.
Yeah, little doubt there will be a change but the more things change the more they remain the same...business as usual. Bottom line though is that the overall "system" will be just fine.

Extrapolator... That was actually a very good rant. Too many Americans don't like to hear the truth. They want everything sugar-coated and cloaked in flag waving neo-patriotism. Personally, I'm disappointed that it took 8 years of Bush, a protracted war and a financial meltdown to wake America up. I do believe a majority of Americans are finally waking up to the reality of the global economic and ecological problems facing us and as a result, will vote for change.
