UIC is led by 6'3 Cedric Banks who is the best player in the Horizon.Last week he had 36 pts and was named Pl of-week.He is avg 18 pts a game and is shooting 44% from the 3.He has that quick release and is almost impossible to defend.But his side partner is 5'10 Bailey who last yr led the nation in assits and is currently 2nd with a 8 apg.
This is a great gd tandem.Williams and Carr are small fds that can score and 6'9 Scott plays that Fd-C.
Loy-Ch is led by a 6'6 McMillan who avg 17-rpg7 and 6'9 Williams who can score in the paint.
But Loy is weak at gds.They have problems scoring esp from the 3 pt line where they rank 279th.They shoot 29%.
UIC has won 7 of the last 8 games vs Loy.Beat them in early Jan 77-59.
Loy has trouble scoring pts,its defense has given up 78,78,79,80,80,83,83,84,and 97.
See Banks having another big game.Carr and Williams avg double digits and with one of the best pt gds in bailey I see UCI winning this by double digits.
Loy is 1-4 ats at home and is 2-11 ats overall.They are in the bottom 5 out of 300 teams.

Drexal still devasted on last second loss to VCU. Mason has some offense.

ODU -6 over William&Mary
I watched them play Hofstra on Sat.WM looked so bad.I love Hess.But this team looks so unorganized.The game was sloppy so I'm getting a misread.But some passes of WM hit 2 cheerleaders,hit a police officer and a kid not paying attention.Loughton and Waller are tough.And ODU has been covering.Small play though

Ahhh......Connecticut.... I'm with you...Impeach that sob..He's no friend to education or anything else....Our highways are a disgrace.....I95 is terrible down here in Fairfield County.......Taxes are higher than anywhere in the country.....Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun casinos have contributed 1 billion over the last 10 years.....lotteries...6% sales tax, income tax........ etc. etc and Ct still runs deficits.....People still flock to this area, however because of its proximity to NY, Stamford, Greenwich...(good jobs)
but the state of the state is not great(overall) We sure don't look good in the news!!!

Deng Gai .....last I heard was this could keep him out for 3 weeks so he should be on the sidelines for another week....will let you know what I hear.......I'm still hurting after losing with Loyola...in half 2 yesterday.......Sure....Fairfield is a perfect 17 for 17 from the free throw line and hits 67% from 3 in the second half........when I go against
This is becoming a pattern!!!!! Loyola plays half 1....then runs outa gas and gets blown out in half 2:nono:

It's been quiet here about the investigation.....Timmygate.......but still ongoing............and what did ya think about Calhoun losing it when asked about Gomes .........No matter what......this too is a pattern with CT...Calhoun is NOT a great coach and when CT can't RUN they are in trouble....half court game is mediocre(at best)....................NOW Calhoun gets so pissed off that nobody will shoot (except Rashad Anderson) Denham Brown looks like a deer in headlights....double clutches and passes up good looks..Ben Gordon seems to lose composure and with it his shot so he too passes up the good looks and trys to play point...Taliek gets outta control but Okafor remains a ROCK and just gets better. They will play through this and be ready for the tournament ...a much more focused team that realizes it can get its ass kicked on any given night without teamwork and 100% effort. Difference is that this year Calhoun really does have the horses...if he can bring em around.

When will I learn? Looks like Gomes @ co. are at it again.....
