Three road teams that I like equally tonight, I hate to break my one play a day strategy but I had trouble picking between these three.
Eastern Kentucky -3(Posted in POD thread)....I feel this line is an overreaction to the fact that this is an elimination game for Morehead State. When they met at EKU the line was 13.5,(EKU covered) and I don't think that home court in the OVC merits a 10.5 line deviation. Morehead did win on Saturday but still have lost 5 of their last 7. Top 8 in the OVC make the tournament and I don't see them getting in.
St. Joes +4.5....riding the hot team. Joe's has won 7 straight A-10 games, all by 8+ points and 6-1 ats in that stretch. St Joe's beat Temple ten days ago by 12 points, and I don't see how much has changed in a little over a week. Temple seems to get a lot our of it's players and their matchup zone, but St Joe's seems to have an answer for them as of late. Will be much closer than it was ten days ago, but I don't see why St Joe's can't win again. Getting a handful of points is nice security.
Iowa State +2...Another team with seven wins in a row, and I think Raymond said they might just be the hottest team in the nation. I think the Cyclones proved their tougness when Kansas tied it up to force OT on Saturday, and then they found a way to win in the extra session. A lot of teams would crumble in that type of spot but Iowa State excelled. Based on that I don't see this being the typical letdown game that it could be for other squads. Also doesn't hurt that Iowa State has won seven of the last nine matchups against the A&M, included the last two.
