Carmelo Anthony was suspended for tonite's game against Detroit. They have ben playing better of late with Iverson out and RIP back in the starting lineup. Was thinking of playing them anyway, (because Denver has been suspect of late too) but with Melo now out this seems like I great play.

DET -3 STRONG PLAY

Iverson out, Det wins two straight against good teams. (One when Wallace was suspended as well.)

Durant hurt, OKC takes Dallas to OT before losing, then plays Dallas again w/out Durant and Jeff Green and wins.

McGrady goes down, Rockets go on a roll.

Cavs lose Ben Wallace, then win three straight.

Oden goes down, Blazers go 5-2, which is better than their overall winning percentage.

Suns 2-1 w/out Nash + Stoudamire.

Pacers have gone 4-2 w/out Granger. They are a losing team w/him.

Ohio but not a Buckeye
Wallace never got suspended because the NBA checks all T's and they took back 2 that he shouldn't have been called for. However, he got 1 in their last game, and 1 more and he'll be suspended.

However, Denver has played like shit of late.

Denver 9-6 without Mello this season

Jazz went 7-1 without Boozer in February

Hornets went 4-1 without David West in January

Spurs destroyed Dallas and Portland without Duncan and Ginobli

Lakers swept an east coast road trip without Bynam

Bucks still a competitive squad without Redd and Bogut...still in 8th place

The only injury angle that will always work is the "late scratch"
