Carolina - ML(-123) for 5 Units:scared
Canes on a 5 game losing streak and I see them breaking it in fashion tonight getting the Jets at the right time! Canes last game was on Mar. 21st and have been resting quite alot, while the Jets played Mar. 22 and 24th, then travelled yesterday on the 25th to Carolina, all while the Canes relaxed. Just an incredible spot tonight for Carolina as they will sink a ton into tonights to get the win and move up the standings!


Lots of live dogs tonight. Far too many heavy favs. Panthers get the Leafs in a nice spot having played 2 huge emotional games against the Bruins and Florida rested in Toronto last night while they played in Boston!

Habs can play with the Pens and that 11 game win streak must end sometime.

Flames could knock off Chicago, another nice spot here!

Thanks for the kind words. It was weird with Dallas, they had Jamie Benn their best player down as being scratched on the ESPN boxscore, but then he was in the actual boxscore of having played.......so odd!

Sorry to all who tailed on the Canes. Just a miserable play.......I would cap it the same way again.

With regards to the game.......6 losses in a row for Carolina......3 straight home losses by 4-1 scores......tells me all you need to know about the leadership on this team......the effort was horrible. Constantly losing one on one battles for loose pucks......I knew the play was doomed. Canes cant clear their defensive, its a journey every time someone retreats to the back of the net for a breakout pass......just pathetic!

THREE ASPECTS STOOD TO ME!
1 - No offensive execution by Carolina. Nobody driving the net, creating rebounds....just sooo sad. You have the Staal brothers up the middle, did I mention Eric Staal was a -3 tonight?......what a great 1-2 punch at center and they absolutely crap the bed tonight! 5 days off and the Jets look like the hungrier/fresher team.......what a disaster.

2 - No goaltending in Carolina......with Cam Ward out.......man, they are stinking it up in goal.....neither goalie is giving Carolina a chance to win.....and the team seems deflated playing in front of either goalie. Bad play on my part after witnessing the body language of this Carolina team........heck the Canes managed to score on themselves with 7 min to go.....what a joke! And I bet on them big...ughh!

3 - Coaching.......Kirk Muller has been very disappointing in Carolina since taking over mid-season last year. Far too many times on key defensive zone draws he didnt have 2 centers out there for key faceoffs and when the center was waived out of the circle, it lead to an easy Jets faceoff win which then led to a nice forecheck by the Jets forwards. Puck possession was a serious problem tonight and when you have last line change, you need to do a FAR better job of matching up and Muller failed miserably.........brutal!

Anyways, enough of my rant.....I had to vent......my wife said to me just post everything on your mind and let it go lol! So I did lol!

I lose when I bet on the Canes, I lose when I bet against the Jets......yet again another lose with those 2 inconsistent teams.....NO IDENTITY!
