Haven't posted in a while. Wanted to take a few days to watch the action and get a better feel for some of the teams.

Angels ML 429/300 & RL 150/232.50 - Absolutely love this game. This is one of my favorite scenarios to bet on. A struggling team comes back home after a road trip to face a bad team and an even worse pitcher. I think the Angels get healthy in a big way tonight. Vlad may or may not be in the lineup, but I don't think it matters either way. Batista is a gascan and has an ERA of almost 9 so far this year. He also has an ERA over 6 against the Halos in his career. Furthermore, Anderson hits over .300 against him, Guerrero and Cabrera hit over .400 against him, and Hillenbrand hits over .600 against him.

Saunders isn't great but he has pitched well so far this year. The M's lineup isn't anything to write home about so I think he will be fine.

I suppose it's possible that the Angels come out flat in this game but I have to think they are hungry for a win and will jump all over Batista early.

Good luck all...

I swear to Christ, if this Angels game gets called I'm going to absolutely shite. Up 2-0 in the first just get through 5 innings!

I know it's taboo to chalk games up before they're over but that's what I'm doing. I'm watching the M's game and there's no way in hell they score 7 runs in the last 2 innings. In fact, they won't score one. 2-0 on posted plays today but I lost a few other games that I didn't post.

I will say this... I REALLY don't like the way things have been looking lately. The unpredictability (is that even a word?) of games the last week or so is starting to remind me a lot of last year, which was brutal. Today the Brewers got shut down by a minor league pitcher and the Indians struggled mightily against Edwin Jackson and the rest of the weak TB pitching staff. I've also noticed that there are very few players who can get runners in from third with one out or less. Fundamentals simply don't exist in baseball anymore. It's turning into the NBA. :mj07: You can crunch numbers all you want but there's really no way to factor in things like I mentioned above. Needless to say it has me a bit worried. If these trends continue for the next couple of weeks I'll probably just cash out and quit while I'm ahead. No use in gambling just to gamble.

Good luck all...

I would never mark a winner early in baseball. Had Indians yesterday up 6-2 bottom of 9th and lost. Seattle has made it 8-4 and still have 2 on with 1 out.

Ha! You're right, they actually came back and scored a few! I have to give them credit there, I figured they would just mail it in. However, I wasn't really worried because Anaheim was in complete control of that game. The only reason the M's scored is because the Angels weren't bringing in their best BP guys due to the huge lead. I was forgetting that with such a huge lead they wouldn't want to use the big guns.
