Race 3 #5 Gardeness's Gem ML 10-1
Has the speed and the running style to win this race even without getting the lead out of the gate which is usually a requirement for short races at MNR, just can't be too far back at the turn. Middle post spots in short races here have actually been more favorable than the inside as of late. Jockey Tho Nguyen gets the mount and is a solid choice over the recent anchors who have ridden this her to get this one out of the maiden ranks.
May wheel this one and the 10 for a boxcar payoff on the exotics, but as always my main play will be a win ticket.
