Just seen this AR. Sorry about your dog. Had to put my English Bulldog down 3 years ago. Cried like a baby. They say time heels but I still miss Pete.:(

Everytime I read about or hear someone lost a pet it its hard to explain the feeling we have for these animals. There are part of your family just like your own kids....the day in the life of our lives are touched by pets.....and I was one of those that cried out loud when the shot "old yeller".I know most of you guys probaly never heard of old yeller..I have had dogs for my entire life....all boxers except two...Ceasar,King,Rocky,Spinks,Bubba,Max,Kobe,and now sasha and mombo.....king lived for 13 years..can remember everyone of them...there personalties and habits...kobe we only had for 3 months..my wife is a member of boxer rescue..kobe was a white boxer and deaf...he kept attacking sasha and humping her from day 1..we named him kobe because it was the same time kobe had his problems in Colorado at the hotel...we had to give him up..a lawyer from NYC adopted him..and he's doing good...sorry for you loss...my wife and family have always adopted another dog right after the loss. it made it so much better even though the memories still are there.

A rough ordeal Al, they do become our children. Our golden, just turned two last week, sends his love. Be thankful for all the great times together.
