Angels ML 362.50/250 - Before this series started I told myself I was going to bet on the Angels every game. They're the better team, playing at home, coming off of a long losing streak, and they're going up against the 3 worst starters for the M's. So far they haven't let me down. Tomorrow Santana gets the ball for the Halos. He hasn't looked good this year but the M's bats haven't done much this series, except for some late inning runs off of the Angels bullpen. Despite his poor numbers this year Santana has a lifetime mark of 19-5 with a 3.09 ERA at Angel Stadium.

On the other side, Weaver gets the ball. In my opinion he's probably the worst of the M's starters. So far this year he's 0-2 with an ERA of 15.75. And the numbers aren't misleading, he really has gotten hit that hard. Furthermore, he has a career mark of 2-5 with an ERA of 7.24 and a .325 BAA against at Angel Stadium. The Angels bats are really starting to click with Vlad coming back and I really think they hammer the M's for the 3rd game in a row tomorrow.

FWIW... I don't play overs but if ever a game looked like an over it's this one. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Angels go over 9.5 on their own.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks a lot fellas. GL to you all as well.

Addikted,

I just played the runline a few minutes ago. Should have grabbed it last night at +155 but it's now +145.

Added...

Angels -1.5 150/217 - Just added this play. The more I look at this game the more I think Santana pitches well today. He's always been a great pitcher at home and the M's bats haven't done much this year. I also can't see Weaver not getting rocked by the Halos. Their bats have really come to life the last couple of days.

Good luck all...

Thanks RB. Getting to go against Weaver at -145 is a gift in my opinion. Especially when we're getting the better team!

Updated record: 22-5 +3588

2-0 today as the Halos win easily. The M's never had much of a chance in this series. And I know I'm starting to sound like a broken record but go against Jeff Weaver any chance you get. He's the AL equivalent of Wade Miller. Pretty soon the lines are going to be very inflated when he pitches. I found it funny that Hargrove yanked him today after 3 innings even though he wasn't injured and he had only thrown 68 pitches. I guess Grover is sick of watching him get shelled. :mj07:

Good luck y'all!

Thanks for the Halos play. I was looking for a mlb team to par with the suns and your play fit the bill. Nice!

Thanks a lot guys. I've been fortunate in that most of the breaks have been going my way so far this year. That's not to say I haven't gotten an ulcer due to bad bullpens. :mj07:

Destructor,

I've followed your picks and you're doing quite well too! I've definitely tried to be more disciplined this year because I usually end up losing my ass whenever I play a bunch of games. Some cappers are good enough to maintain a high winning percentage when they play the majority of the card, but I just can't do it.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks Elvis. You too. Maybe one of these days I'll get the stones to play some 8* plays like you had the other day. Nice hits on both of those!
