this has nothing to do with your capping, its jmo. but schilling is the most overrated, overpriced pitcher in baseball right now. youre right, he needs to win. but everything he is throwing is very 'hittable' right now. hes not intimidating anyone.

I went with the sox at +140 for this one. Schilling era in his first 2 starts is 9.00, and thats over 11 innings. One start was against the royals even. His whip is pretty bad too, I believe hes given up 18hits/2 walks in those 11 innings. I think McCarthy is a stud and he will rise to the task and beat Schilling.

if the White sox can score some runs against Schilling i think this game will go over. No doubt the Red sox will score against McCarthy wo gives up a HR every 4 innings and now he gets to face Manny and Ortiz at Fenway. day game in Boston there might be some fireworks.

Final point on this..
The Red Sox are aces at home 1st off..
The last one game fly in fly out series I remember was a disinterested Floridia team going to Colorado for one game and getting blasted (it may have been a double header and they dropped both)
With red sox not varying their daily schedule, theve been at home, and the white sox flying in for one game and flying back home tommorow they will not be into this game, they have a big lead and Schilling needs a big effort..
Today I think he gets it..
