I personally would like the sunken floor taken away too, like at Minny Gophers campus, I think there are a couple of others, and the kinda floor that kid from L'ville shattered his leg on, when he landed. Those surfaces can screw up basketball players' careers!! IMO!

Vandy has had that type for awhile. Often when they play tourney games in big arenas they are like that as well.

Have there been other injuries that are directly attributed to that type of setup? I wasn't aware of any.

That one to the L'ville kid was the worst I've seen in any game, but years back, David Thompson of NC State used to springboard off the floor and he ended up flipping over a player and landed on the back of his head which cracked the bottom of his skull, led to skull fracture and put him out of action for a bit.

Kevin Ware was that kids' name at UL, he played a few mins tonight in exhibition for L'ville vs Pikeville College.
