I planning to get X box Live (for the kids LOL)

My question is just how much connection speed does one need ?

I currently have downstream 4 Mbps & upstream 512 Kbps.

Will that do ??

Master, the PS2 does have an online option, I believe you have to buy an attachment for it to hook it up. Not sure about any fees or anything like that.

xbox and playstation are available online. you may need to get an adapter for the xbox, but the new ones are allready coming with them built in. if you have dial up or dsl, the phone plus will just plug into the box. if you have cable interent, you would either need to bring the modem to the xbox and have a cable hook up. the other options are, you can purchase your own router and wireless card or some cable companies offer a homenetworking set up. i have that which is nice, i have 2 computers and my playstation all hooked up on the internet and we can all be on them at the same time.
