This might have been covered before, but I'd like to get some current views. Who does everybody use? Which online trading companies can you trade penny stocks? Thanks.

have many accounts (probably too many) at discount and full service. most of these are in Cdn. but have a few US accounts.

of the discount brokerage accounts have used.

TD Waterhouse

E-Trade; not bad but they have been slipping would rate them poorly for customer service.

Ameritrade

CIBC investors edge (only in Canada, good research and web design, terrible for options)

BMO Investorline :cdn. much better, good place to buy bonds, fixed income.

all of these will let you trade penny stocks.would do some research and then put a small deposit in them and try them out.

thanks

thanks, selkirk. I have looked at a few of them, and for never having owned one, it is kind of confusing. I don't really need bells and whistles, and I'm more than likely not going to do options. I just want to be able to submit a trade for x amount of dollars and have it go through pretty fast. I also want to be able to buy anything I want and not limited to the NYSE, NASDAQ, or AMEX. Thanks. With that in mind, what sounds the best?

65, I just opened up an Ameritrade account a few weeks ago after using My Track for a few years and like it alot better. I do a little penny stock trading myself. Got my ass handed to me about four years ago when I got greedy and believed everything I read. I will not make that mistake again. Never to early to take profits.

A couple of pennies you might look into is CYGX. They are in animal trials right now for a herpes drug. It virtually eliminated the virus in lab tests. I bought in at .21 a few months ago and right now seems to be holding steady in the .50-.60 range with the test results due probably around the end of August. If they come back postive, I believe these sub dollar prices will be a thing of the past. Another one is AQWF. They are just getting started in wireless broadband. This one has a lot of growth potential IMO. Don't go looking over the financials for either of these two companies, as I am sure they won't look very impressive from that standpoint.

If you are interested, get my email from Jack and I will give you the email address for a place that has done pretty well in the past with their penny recommendations. Also, I am avid deer hunter, which I think you are too. Less than two months till archery season here in Misery.

The sight I was getting reommendations from sent out an email today saying they were closing shop as they were doing it for fun and it started taking more time than they thought. I'm open for new ideas if anyone has some.

got an account funded at scottrade.com

I liked that they have an office relatively close to where I live, and everytime I called, I spoke to a broker, and they gave me good attention, good CS.

Now, to buy some stocks, lol! might lay off tomorrow, seems like the market might be a little volatile on the bin Laden news and the anniversary.
