The Los Angeles Lakers run will come to end tonight in Sacramento. Sacramento should have finished the Lakers already ! Poor officiating in game 6 is the only reason the Lakers are around for a game 7...oh I almost forgot and the NBA & NBC !

Sacramento ML -135 10 unit play !

Good Luck !

No offense, but if you took SAC -135 on the money line when SAC -1 and -1.5 was available at many places a few days ago, I have to wonder about your skills as a gambler.

I did not think I asked for your opinion of my play, pal.

Stick to picking the winner of the game.

If Sac wins by 1 or 2 I WIN and YOU LOSE !

High Roller,

First of all, it's your money, do with it as you will.

However, I do feel that I have the right to chime in because your post proves an example of how uninformed some bettors are on the mathematics behind sports betting. Perhaps someone will read my post and decide to change their betting strategy in the future as a result of reading this, and save themselves a lot of money down the road.

If you took SAC ML for $1350/1000 you lost $250 more than the other guy who bet SAC -1 for $1100/1000. The question is, will the Kings win by 1 point enough to compensate for that extra loss of $250. Databases of thousands of NBA games over the past years will tell you that it is NOT enough to compensate you for paying the -135 over -110.

I'm just trying to save you money in the long run, because your strategy for taking a -1.5 favorite or -1 favorite on the money line instead of the point spread is a LOSING ONE. Trust me, take the point spread next time on this one and take your chances. If anyone has reason to believe I am in the wrong here, please feel free to tell me.

I think it's fair to say that we're all here to help others make money though, not to put each other down for our own self-gratification.

Also, if I had decided to make a wager on the Kings, I would have done so on the line Sacramento -1 which was available at some places, or worst case Sacramento -1.5. Therefore your statement,

" If Sac wins by 1 or 2 I WIN and YOU LOSE ! "

is incorrect. If Sacramento had won by 1 and I had SAC -1.5 I would lose, but if they had won by 2 I would have won the wager.

I had the Lakers +123 on the money line, but that is irrelevant anyways since I did not post my play on this forum before the game started. I do not think I am a fantastic NBA capper but I do know some math behind the game.
