I'll get these totals figured out one day. Funny thing is I didn't like the Cubs because my feeling is Zambrano is in waters he hasn't been in before in his young career logging all these innings, struggling lately, and being told by Skip you are the guy in Game 1 of the NLCS now go get us a win to start this thing off right. Then I say I don't like Zam's mental state for this game. All these factors should have pointed me in the direction of over 8. I'll learn. Good call for those of who that went OVER.
As a Cubs fan this has to rattle you a bit. But it's also a testament to how good these Marlins really are. Scary is the fact that they've played their best baseball after losing Mike Lowell. It's still anybody's game though. I just know you have to win a playoff game when you're spotted 4 runs right off the rip. If this were Sox/Yanks I'd be calling for a Re-call election for the entire Red Sox coaching staff for letting this get away so early. Marlins aren't exactly the kind of team that sneaks up on you to the tune of 5 unanswered runs.
