What kind of rule is that? Boy, that is dumb....
I can easily see the Wisconsin Badgers sneaking in the top 10 of the BCS by the time all is said and done... They are sitting at 10-1 with one game to play, and other teams are losing left and right, with more tough games to play...
AND then they don't even get a BCS bid, due to having Ohio State and Michigan in the same conference (which happen to be 1-2 in the country - showing how strong the BIG 10 is, at least at the top of the conference)
It seems that, if your team earns a BCS bid by being in the top 10 at year end, you should get a BCS Bowl Bid, no matter what conference or how many teams in your conference are already in.....
Thoughts everyone?
