new orleans saints (+10)

throwing the stats, numbers, and records out the window. new orleans rebounds after a pathetic effort in denver last weekend. pride and jobs on the line for the saints. falcons still better suited for the dog and/or small chalk role. puttin a good chunk on this one.

I think the NO bounce back is non existent, esp over the long haul

after 1 or more consecutive losses, 55-55 ATS
after a loss by 10 or more points, 30-30 ATS
after a loss by 14 or more points, 22-22 ATS
after a loss by 21 or more points, 8-9 ATS

I feel some other factors will play big in this one.

Think a team that can run the ball and stop the run will do very well against a team that cannot run at all or stop the run at all.

turnovers over the last three games...
NO a negative 2.3
Atl a plus 1.3

turnovers in division games...
NO a negative 1
Atl a plus 1.5

GL on your action

weasel:

even though im ready for a coaching change, one thing i have to say for davis is this: he has a knack for getting his players to play hard for him in tough situations. now will they play a disciplined game? thats a good question. theyve been incredibly sloppy the last few weeks. but they wont mail the game in. there was talk about mccown starting this week, as hes likely the qb of the future, but they decided on holcomb. injuries are killing this team. im not sure what kind of gameplan theyre gonna put together to attack offensively. their line is depleted, but their running back corps is shorthanded too. as you know, nfl is weird. not completely out of the question that browns rise up and perform well. they did it last year in cincinnati when they were out of the playoff race, playing for pride, and they ruined the bengals playoff hopes. not 'expecting' a repeat performance, but wouldnt be totally shocking. unless youre really hesistant, i wouldnt get rid of the whole clowns bet. i say keep a little. this is cincy laying pts after all.
