Open Letter To Smashmouth, Bobbybluechips,gardenweasel,felonious Monk And Others.

I must admit that I was a little shocked and even hurt some at the comments that were made in an earlier thread. I'm on your side when it comes to things of that nature. I have 2 daughters of my own and you better believe fire and brimstone will be unleashed in a fury never before seen on this planet if anyone were to harm them in such a way. I'm very much involved in my kids' lives and I strive to be an outstanding and devoted father until the day I die.
I won't win over everyone on this board and I understand that but I will express some constructive criticism that explores the weaknesses as well as strengths of others here. I try to avoid personal attacks on other posters at all costs and I would want the same from everyone here regarding my posts. If there is something anyone disagrees with regarding one of my posts, I encourage them to let me know about it but in a positive way. I can be just as nasty if tempted. I will, however, be the first to admit of wrong doing and gladly delete my post if I have offended someone. I try to bring a little fun and laughs to this place in sort of a "boys will be boys" kind of way.
This is, after all, Jack's privately owned business and he makes the rules. If I or others go out of the boundaries of his guidelines, I would expect actions to be taken. I have a lot of respect for him....he's passionate about his site, very intelligent and most of all very good at keeping his sense of humor. I'm sure he's overworked and grossly underpaid for what he does here.
Let's all try to keep this place a haven to share ideas and discuss important information with each other. Discussions representing a variety of viewpoints is what makes this BBS an enjoyable place to visit.

I consider this matter closed. I appreciate the kind words, and accept the apology as I hope you accept mine. Anyone who knows me knows I would never intentionally hurt someones feelings. I regret starting the thread and will not abuse any of the priveledges provided by Jack again. Jeff
