Given that MSU is way better than Louisville and Connecticut, who finished higher than Viillanova in the Big East ... and Villanova was only a 7.5 dog, and that Michigan State has a home court....

I'll say Michigan State +5..... and that will be a good play for us......

Defense wins championships.....

Carolina wins this game by 11-15 points.

MSU can play all the defense they want, they can't keep up with the heels.

UNC has shown they have the most talent in this tourney and have stepped up their perimeter defense ten fold which was one of their big issues going into this tourney. MSU is going to have to shoot lights out and somehow contain Lawson/Green/Ellington/Hansbrough to prevent another double digit loss at Ford. I don't see how they present any type of match up problems that Nova/OU didnt already throw at them. I just find it semi funny that many thought this UNC squad was untouchable earlier this year and now they are almost under rated, when Lawson has played they won all but 2 of their W's by over 8 points. Basically when they win, they run you out of the gym.

UNC -7.5, tarheels haven't won by less than 12 all tournament. MSU while not the same team UNC faced in December still lacks the talent/speed to play with the heels when they run which will be the game plan on Monday night.

RUN RUN RUN keep uptempo pace and score 90, MSU won't get out of the 70's if they even make it there.

Well MSU beat UCONN and ALL THE REFS COMBINED.... And shot like 31%, while UCONN shot like 34%.... AND IT STILL WENT OVER.... Add 5-10% per team and that game was 180s + IMO.... I think if MSU does play as well, (even though they shot only 31%), they will win outright... I like NC to cover OR MSU ML.... NC wins by 12-19 pts OR they LOSE OUTRIGHT....

Either way, I think the over is the play.... I think NCar HAS TO SET THE TONE since they are on the road and MSU is pretty much at home.... THIS WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE...

definitely agree with you on the idea of money line MSU or UNC wins big. I'll be playing UNC big off first glance, too hard for me to think they will go that cold from the floor against MSU, Nova has been one of the best defensive teams this tourney and UNC's balance ate away at them even on an off night at the line. 59.5% is WELL below their average

the tarheels will shoot ft's against mich st and that may be the difference. however, do not under estimate the st ability to rebound and play def. ty ellington will not have all the open looks that he saw tonight.

they switch and defend like no team that i have ever seen. that said unc scores at will at times and that is scary.

do not expect st to shoot as poorly, nor settle for all of the crap shots that nova did tonight.

suton produced nothing and st won by double digits....

Okay, then Green will be wide open. People don't understand why it's so hard to beat this Carolina team.

They have all 5 starters who are capable of having a 20 point night.

i'm not suggesting that they are easy to defend. i would like to see st. not double hansbro or the other big guy. ellington, green, lawson are all brutal from deep if they get started. i would rather see hansbro go for 25 and keep the others in check. having said that, ty lawson has been unstoppable so far.

i hope it is a very good game.
