I was just wondering what everyone thought the line would do as we approach kickoff. It seems that this one is fairly split as far as where the money is. Partly I think it helps that teams come from each side of nation - as majority of west coast money should be on Oak and vise versa for Tampa. It appears however, even though it seems most of big media (ESPN) guys are on Oakland that the odds makers are getting a lot of Tampa action with +4 (-115) and the ML coming down from +160 to +145 (lines from www.bodog.com).

Anyway, ...I personally do like the Bucs to win the game outright, just really love the defense and personally think they are the better team. But regardless of all that, which way do ya'll see the line moving? I'm gonna go with the ML probably and want to get it at highest possible (imagine that). Should I go ahead and get on it at +145 or do ya'll see it heading back up closer to game time?

Thanks ahead for input and good luck to everyone tomorrow.

I'm can't believe football is over after Sunday and we have to wait until August, .........everyone keep an I on the ole Auburn Tigers next season, from what the guys I know on the team have been telling me (plus all the papers around here), next year could be special! My fingers are crossed, we'll see. War Damn Eagle.

Personally, I like the Buc's as well.

As far as the line movement goes, I think most the books are anticipating a lot of late money coming in on the Raiders. Most books currently have the line at 3.5, although there are a few 4's out there. The majority of the money is on Tampa right now, yet you don't see anyone as of yet willing to throw a "3" out there yet which leads me to the thinking that they are expecting late Raider money to be flooding in. Will be interesting to see what the line ends up at. Should be a good SuperBowl!

The sharp money usuually doesnt matter much in the superbowl, as there is only one game and about 80 million being bet on it, the public has the influence here, I think the west coast money arrives late and the line will increase....

Interesting sidebar, the point spread has only come to play in 2 of the past 36 games...Hmmm:shrug:

Line at bodog.com down to +3.5 but ML still at +145. I am probably just gonna put alll I would bet on the ML. What does everyone think will happen to ML as kickoff approaches?

Good luck to all, so sad to the season go.

I agree with the statement to much money and a lot is public. Many once a year players to. Line wont come into play. Big fav wins by 5 or more, or dog wins out right. Now witch is right?

Getting a little nervous, been holding off trying to get highest ML --- its down to +140 now.

Keep hearing a lot of late money is going to come in on Oakland, I sure hope so. Anyone got any info on this?

I think Vegas really does not want to adjust the line too much for fear of getting middled. But, west coast bettors could drive line up before kick off. Keep an eye on the line. Still have about 4+ hours to go.

With news coming out about Raiders center Robbins a little scared this might bring in more Bucs money. Just seems like HUGE distraction, ...hard to deny this fact.

Come on Raiders fans, drop the $$$$ --- I want the ML up to at least +150, wishful thinking? LoL
