Not playing this game, this but food for thought. The MSU D gave up 392 yards and 28 points @Nebraska last year but NU fumbled 6 times (4 lost), without Martinez. In '12 they gave up 473 yards and 28 points to Nebraska (313 rushing and several big plays). MSU@Indiana '12, 317 yards and 27 points. Indiana '13, 351 yards and 28 points. MSU did go 3-1 in these games and 2-2 ATS by outscoring the opposition.
These 4 games were their only 4 against high tempo spread offenses like they'll see in Eugene. Obviously neither of these teams are the caliber of Oregon, but you get the drift. High tempo spread is one way to get to this defense. Oregon should score well into the 30's, maybe beyond. The question becomes what will MSU score on them. I lean to a 38-28ish score.
