Bill O'Rilley appearing on the Tim Russett show went nuts on National TV. He was appearing with a writer from the NY Times. They were covering many subjects. But when it came to 9/11 of Moores and Fox being Right handed. He went almost nuts. I thought he was going to chit his pants or have the big one. O'Rilley who is Republican but keeps saying he's a Independent. Must hurt to say it. Once again showed if you don't agree with how he see's a subject. You are either dump or a liar. Bill again showed he would take his ball and go home if you don't play the game his way. He seems to have let his ratings go to his head. What a difference his show now days vs a year ago. And on this show what a display of ignorance.

Why even watch O'rilley, as he is a joke and not even worth the time? This guy is starting to sound like Morton Downey in his day! It's a waste of time to try and get your news from Fox or CNN as both are completely bias towards the truth and Fox more so has a complete distortion of reality!

"the bunker"
we are living in a time when the media are no longer reporters....thay have become political advocates....

o`reilly gives opinions.....he`s more of a commentator than a reporter...much like franken has become...michael moore...limbaugh...you love `em or hate `em...this is one category....they are who they are...at least they are honest about who they are.....

then there are the ted koppels and the dan rathers....totally disingenuous....

it`s the "nightlines" of the world that are disturbing...their reports are probably more biased than fox or cnn because they hide behind the thin veil of being reporters.....not commentators..or advocates.....nightline,koppel and bury are so blatantly anti-iraq war and anti-bush that it`s laughable....and if you asked them they`d deny it...that`s what`s so disingenuous about it...it`s downright sleazy because it`s not intellectually honest...

fox and cnn are what they are....the nightlines are silly...ted koppel has lost whatever credibility he once had....

guys like dan rather never had any credibility to begin with?.....

"what`s the frequency,kenneth?"....lol

then there are real reporters......interesting guys because they think for themselves....

like chris matthews and tim russertt...i still think mathews has the ability to be fair even though he`s unabashedly for kerry in this election...

russert may be the absolute best at interviewing people in a tough but unbiased manner...

I barely watch new at all anymore (unless theere's a war going on) and I gotta tell you, the Factor is one of the few that I will tune into once or so a week. I have seen nothing better on broadcast or satelite TV with respect to news. AND still some shows suck azz.

I cannot stand O'Reilly. IronLock even calls him a simpleton.

I also cannot stand Koppel or Rather and haven't watched their self-important pompous asses in years.

The ONLY place I can trust for news is McNeill / Lehrer NewsHour on PBS. They present all sides and allow all sides their say without interrupting, coloring, prefacing, interjecting, shouting, throwing tantrums, badgering, etc...They let the viewer reach their own conclusions. Plus no commercials. For those who have not seen this show, try it.

My fear watching him was he was going to explode. I have seen that on his show a little when he starts with, Come On. Then you know right away who ever is there might as well have stayed home. Like Moores 9/11 he said it's all lies. Well thats just not true. Many parts of Moores move is Bush uttering some nonsense. Bush cant help that he just is a very poor speaker.

Neill/Lear I believe is 5 or 6 central. It is a fair show as said above. PBS also had some good coverage of convention. They did not do alot of telling us what we just listen to. Much like CSPAN.
